What is Assprop.ch and what does it try to achieve?

Assprop.ch is a non-political umbrella organization that aims to defend the interests of real estate individual owners. To reach this goal, it offers specific services to its members which are listed below.

Assprop.ch is the mother association of cantonal associations:

  • Pic-Vert Assprop Ge (which represents the home owners in the Geneva region)
  • Assprop Vd members are real estate owners based in the cantons of Vaud, Valais, Neuchatel or Fribourg.

Through sharing concerns, opinions and ideas, the Association has a powerful and persuasive voice, which actively shapes the local housing community. The association also aims to communicate with the local authorities to ensure that development of the region is sustainable, sensible, and maintains that quality of life that is so important both for ourselves and for future generations.

Working together in this way, we are able to leverage the needs and expectations of over 3000 owners and to gain tangible and informed benefits. We are able to disseminate important news to our members. We discuss proposed legislation, and have real bargaining power in helping to shape or prevent it. The Association is also able to provide economic benefits to our members, as discussed in greater detail below.

News and Views

With the pace of life as it is, keeping up with all the important development news can be difficult. It is often not immediately apparent what the actual impact of new proposals will be on a personal level. With this in mind, we provide a magazine, Pic-Vert, every trimester. The idea is to give recent updates, news of past and upcoming events and editorials. We hope that it is informative and welcome suggestions for topics that readers would like to see covered.

Tangible Economic Benefits

Through our network of contacts and friends we have been able to negotiate extensive economic benefits for our members. These range from free telephone hotlines with banks, legal counsel, architects and fiduciaries, brokers as well as security firms to preferential rates with the same type of professionals mentioned above (ranging between 15-20%).
